ABOUT REPORTIN’ FOR DUTY.
The Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 were held from February 8-16 and featured 534 Invictus Games competitors – wounded, injured and sick serving members and Veterans from 23 Nations, who showcased their resilience, determination and camaraderie through 11 adaptive sport competitions in Vancouver and Whistler in a celebration of strength, recovery and inclusion.
One Twenty Eight joined forces to book and oversee the experience of all headlining artists involved in the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the games televised across Canada and around the world. This included advance marketing and promotion of their performances.
On February 8, the Opening Ceremonies took place in front of 50,000 competitors, their families and fans at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, British Columbia. Headlining performers booked by One Twenty Eight included; Chris Martin, Katy Perry, Noah Kahan, Nelly Furtado and Roxane Bruneau.
On February 16, the Closing Ceremonies at Rogers Arena celebrated the week of competition and the power of community. The evening featured performances by Jelly Roll, The War And Treaty, The Barenaked Ladies and Marie-Mai.
A special thank you to our collaborators Loft Entertainment, Patrick Roberge Productions, Invictus Games 2025 Committee and Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex for your trust in us to help bring this project to life.
